International Medical Group Eligibility Specialist - Temporary Position in Indianapolis, Indiana

  • Type of Job: Temporary

  • Hours: 40-hours per week

  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

  • Pay: $12.00 per hour

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. IMG will not be providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.


The Eligibility Specialist will be responsible for providing excellent service and support to our customers. Initially you will be responsible for Eligibility duties such as but not limited to identifying issues with an insured file, data input of insured information, adding coding to the insured’s files in other systems.


  • Enter, correct and/or update an insured’s file in systems

  • Review and compare insureds’ and their dependents’ identifier in internal systems to identify multiple IDs and merge and update data in all systems as needed

  • Identify overlapping certificates and review certificate language to ensure the appropriate certificate is attached to insured’s file

  • Assist the Sales and Underwriting departments to determine certificate cancellations for multiple policies

  • Assembling and redistributing fulfillment kits that contain designated insurance documents that are prepared and mailed/shipped to Insureds and Producers.

  • Respond to written and oral inquiries from internal departments

  • Other duties and projects as needed


  • High School diploma or GED

  • Be organized with high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and follow direction

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to work in multiple programs

  • Documentation skills and Data entry skills with a high level of accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
