Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in the non-profit sector, based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, primarily over the phone, to a variety of stakeholders requiring assistance with their online registration to our events. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, assisting with their online event registrations.

• Answer and respond to inbound calls, directing, referring, or transferring calls as necessary.

• Become proficient in our online registration process and related software systems, being prepared to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

• Proactively follow up on registration issues.

• Work as a team player, but also have the ability to work independently in a changing environment.

• Prioritize and organize tasks effectively, demonstrating strong time-management skills and the ability to multitask.

• Respond to team email inquiries and adhere to team's agreed upon processes.

• Use Microsoft Office products proficiently.

• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate decision-making skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Interact and work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external individuals. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in a call center customer service role.

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve customer complaints.

• Competency in data entry and order entry tasks.

• Familiarity with email correspondence and ability to respond professionally to customer inquiries.

• Ability to schedule appointments in an organized and efficient manner.

• Proven track record in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a team and contribute to achieving team goals.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
