We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager that will uphold our core values of integrity, respect, safety, and quality just to name a few. The Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the team in order to meet distribution operation goals that align with corporate objectives in the following 5 categories:
Safety – OSHA recordable incidents
Quality – inventory & processing transactional accuracy (from receipt through fulfillment)
Service – lead time adherence, on-time delivery & pick-up
Productivity/Operational Efficiency – units processed per man hour
Cost – cost per unit shipped
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage all branch operations and provide support and guidance to staff
Responsible for the P & L of Service, Parts and Sales lines of business
Assist in developing operating and capital budgets
Confer with customers as required for problem/solutions and customer relationships
Hire, train and motivate staff
Meet regularly with team to discuss issues, concerns and updates
Continuously monitor department goals, objectives and policies to assure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Ability to manage and motivate multiple departments to work together towards stated goals and objectives while improving processes within the branch
Maintain positive working relationships with service staff and company managers as well as all customers
Achieve sales goals for East Penn in markets you represent
Engage in key or targeted customer activities
Report key results and issues to corporate
Promote and present East Penn Core Values to employees, customers, and suppliers
- Education – Bachelor’s Degree/preferred or demonstrated experience successfully running a DC
Experience
Minimum of 10 years in a management or supervisory role, MHE or Industrial sales and service operations
Minimum of 5 years in a warehouse/distribution environment
