Typically a full time student attending a university who works part time during the school year and full time during the summer in their chosen field, or a full-time student that takes a semester off from school to work full time in their chosen field, including Manufacturing, Engineering, IT, Environmental Health and Safety, Accounting, etc.Develop, improve, and support a variety of processes used in the manufacturing of Allegion brands. The engineer must possess strong interpersonal skills and will collaborate with cross functional groups from assembly team members to a wide variety of technicians and engineers.

What You Will Do:

• Process Improvement Projects: Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives.

• Documenting Processes: Updates to existing and aid in development of new support documentation.

• Lean Manufacturing Implementation: Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing methods and procedures. Streamlining process and reducing waste.

• Layout and Flow: Support overall plant process flows and updates to existing facility layout documentation and drawings.

• Additional opportunities in material consolidation, TPM, CNC programming, data collection and interpretation, general workplace organization, and other projects as they become site priority.

Compensation :

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

• The expected Base Hourly Range: $25-26. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
