Corteva has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our company in Indianapolis, IN, supporting our VP of Mergers & Acquisitions as a primary responsibility, while also being a shared resource to other leaders in the Strategy Organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones, scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangement for exec and senior team members.

  • Screen and prioritize incoming communications, including emails and phone calls.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and integrity.

  • Act as a primary point of contact with external/ internal stakeholders, liaising to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

  • Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and correspondence.

  • Organize / plan meetings and events including agenda development.

  • Manage expense reports and track budget.

  • Coordinate and oversee special projects as assigned input purchase orders, contract routing, process invoices for accounts payable etc.

  • Look for ways to optimize workflow as needed, such as SharePoint sites where shared information can be stored.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • You have your High School Diploma/GED.

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated administrative support experience, preferably supporting Sr. Level leaders within a complex organization.

  • Demonstrated experience with calendar management, domestic and international travel scheduling and arrangements, processing expense reports.

What Skills You Need:

  • You have proven experience as an executive administrative assistant or in similar role (3-minimum 5 years).

  • You value serving the business and our customers, so you are willing and able to work overtime as needed. Your attention to detail and your organizational skills are outstanding! You have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and writing skills.

  • You are experienced and confident in your ability, proficient in use of Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.

  • You see problems as challenges and enjoy the opportunity to solve them and make improvements. You are flexible, able to multi-task/ prioritize responsibilities with competing priorities, work well under pressure and plan ahead to meet deadlines. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working independently and being part of a diverse team environment.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • An associate degree or bachelor's degree.

  • Experience with Concur Travel or other expense reporting systems.

  • Experience booking domestic or international travel and itineraries.

  • Experience with navigating an HR information system (HRIS).

  • This position utilizes a hybrid schedule with the flexibility to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
