Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our location in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be a crucial part of our team, focusing on the management and resolution of customer accounts and inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage customer credit applications.

• Ensure customer credit records are maintained accurately.

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

• Proofread all customer related documents and records for accuracy.

• Understand and implement Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and practices. Requirements • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in finance or accounting is a plus

• Proven experience in an accounts receivable role

• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other business software

• Demonstrated skills in proofreading to ensure accuracy of financial documents

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures

• Excellent numerical, financial, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills to resolve issues related to accounts receivable.
