*OhioMeansJobs|Cleveland-Cuyahoga County is sourcing for a Full-Time and Part-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at a Health Facility in Independence. *

Type: Full Time/Exempt/Salaried

Reports to: Director and other Company Administration

The role of Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is to assess, plan, develop, and monitor behavioral supports to meet the needs of students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavior, social, and/or communication challenges. The BCBA supports, trains, and supervises Registered Behavior Technicians, Behavior Therapists, and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts to implement proactive behavioral, social, communication, functional, and education-based programming.   The position involves collaboration with families, team members, related services providers. 

[Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:]{.underline}

  • Build transformative relationships with children, families, and schools
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and develop corresponding Treatment Plans
  • Use our behavioral curriculum assessment and/or IEPs to shape and maintain quality programs
  • Oversee and maintain accurate organized client notes, data and reports
  • Design and implement FBA/BIPs and facilitate implementation meetings
  • Train and evaluate BTs, RBTs, BCaBAs, family members, and school staff on treatment techniques
  • Supervise RBTs, BCaBAs, and prospective BCBAs through the BACB
  • Develop and conduct one staff in-service training for Company Services staff per year and as needed for contracted clients
  • Maintain clean and safe environments for students
  • Embody Company Services mission and core values
  • Attend Company Services staff meetings and required trainings
  • Evening and weekend hours may be required
  • Facilitate Social Skills Groups as requested
  • Ensure that programs comply with Treatment Plan and/or contract requirements
  • Provide documentation of initial and renewal for all Certificates and Licenses
  • Promote positive public relations and facilitate interagency collaboration
  • Accept other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Experience working with children of various ages across the autism spectrum
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and independently manages time
  • BCBA and COBA (Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst) certificate in good standing
  • Maintain current National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
  • Superior interpersonal skills for working with colleagues, clients and vendors
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills including data collection and record keeping
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • High level problem-solving and decision-making skills including during emergencies
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Timely problem-solving abilities, including critical thinking, research, quantitative skills, and creativity
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
