The Corporate Financial Operations & Planning Department is responsible for:
*Support of core financial processes including the annual operating budget, long range financial forecast and month-end close activities.
*The finance support model for institutes, family health centers, Ohio regional hospitals and shared service divisions.
*Project based work supporting organizational initiatives, performance improvement, capital budgeting, strategic business planning and mergers and acquisitions.
Analysts will be placed primarily in one of the areas, but will operate in a matrixed role where there is access and project/operational work in each of the areas throughout the department. The goal is to develop well-rounded candidates who will develop into future finance leaders within the organization.

Responsibilities:
Prepares, analyzes and communicates key financial information and provides support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and other related issues.
Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes and budget review for compliance and opportunities.
Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
Completes special projects and duties including providing necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
A High School diploma/GED and four years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements.
An Associate's degree and two years of experience may substitute the experience and education requirements
Certifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification preferred.
Complexity of Work:
Requires critical thinking skills, attention to detail, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Ability to complete basic analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation.
Awareness of key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development.
Work Experience:
One year of Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Investment Banking or Management Consulting experience preferred.
Offset: High School diploma/GED and four years of experience.
Offset: Associate's degree and two years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $20.77
Maximum hourly: $31.68
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
