Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is a day/evenings position. Typically, the hours will run between 10 am to 6pm - Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekend coverage, if necessary

To insure that a clean sanitary and safe environment is available for all patients, visitors and employees. Under the guidelines set by the EVS Director, implements policies and plans and assists with directing and controlling all administrative activities for the Environmental Services Department. Assists with determining the service level expectations of hospitals serviced by EVS and ensures service provided meets their needs. Assists in the development and interpretation of departmental policies, budgets, and long-range plans. Recommends and approves all human resource activities. Maintains professional work habits and excellent communication skills.

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum of 3-5 year supervisory experience required.

• Minimum of 1 year environmental services supervisory experience in a hospital/clinical setting preferred.

• Minimum ofHigh School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred.
