POSITION: LAK Patient Advocate/Social Services Manager (Unclassified)
LOCATION: Lallie Kemp Medical Center, Independence, Louisiana
DEPARTMENT: Social Services
Description: This position will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the Patient Advocate Program for LSU-Health/Lallie Kemp Medical Center. In addition, the incumbent will supervise the functional operations of the day-to-day activities of the Social Services Department.
Minimum Qualifications Requirements: A Master’s Degree in Social Work or other related Human Services field plus four (4) years of experience in a hospital setting and/or working with Medicaid and under-insured patients. Additionally, the incumbent must be a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
