Eaton Corporation Assistant Manager - Inprocess & Customer Quality in Chennai, India

What you’ll do:

The candidate will be responsible for improving, sustaining and maintaining the internal processes to ensure Quality assurance of the products shipped to the Customers and handle Customer complaints, invenstigate, prepare FAR and implement corrective and preventive actions in order to reduce Customer complaints and prevent internal and external defects.

Quality Control Methodologies:

Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in manufacturing processes.

Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and root causes of process defects.

Implement corrective actions to improve product quality.

Analyzing Customer Feedback:

Investigate customer feedback and complaints related to product quality.

Study electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, and electrical specifications for PCBAs/components.

Identify and debug faults or defects on PCBA assemblies.

Utilize quality tools for root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Improving Product Quality:

Create and implement strategies to enhance product quality.

Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with defined quality standards.

Process Improvement:

Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Implement quality control procedures and best practices

Inspecting and Testing:

Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they function correctly and meet safety standards.

Use testing devices to diagnose electrical problems.

Record inspection and test data, including equipment condition and test results.

Interpreting Specifications:

Read and interpret electrical diagrams and specifications to understand system layouts and requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree Electronics Engineering

10-13 years experience

Skills:

Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Familiarity with electrical & Electronic testing methods and standards.

Reporting and Presentation Skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
