Title:

UABOS Turkey: Waste Water Treatment Plant Supervisor (Contingency Hire)

Responsible for overseeing waste water treatment facilities. Monitors water flushing, water sampling, and water testing. Monitors control panels and adjusts valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate flow. Observes variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings, and tests results to determine load requirements. Starts and stops pumps, engines and generators to control flow through filtering, settling, or aeration processes. Maintains log of operations and records meter and gas readings. May operate and maintain power generating equipment to provide steam and electricity for plant.

Experience:

Shall have five years’ experience as a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) operator working with automated controls. Possess a minimum of a Class II wastewater treatment plant operator certification or equivalent. Contractor shall present Host Nation Equivalency standards of Host Nation and Host Nation certification for review and approval by government, if relying on Host Nation certification to meet this requirement.

Education:

Shall possess a High School diploma, or equivalent.
