UABOS Turkey: Program Security Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Protects the organization's employees, properties from any preventable harm or danger.

• Develops policies and procedures that comply with government guidelines and standards.

• Conducts investigations to protect organization assets.

• Responds to contingency events including bomb threats, sabotage, and terrorism, through onsite security force or with the assistance of government law enforcement agencies.

• Liaisons with client, attends security briefings.

• Identifies security risk, threats, vulnerabilities and develops mitigation procedures.

• Recommends hiring of outside security contractors as necessary.

• Is responsible for supervising and monitoring the systems associated with the flow or personnel, vehicular traffic, and personnel/visitor security clearances.

• Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.

• Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for security processes and procedures.

• Monitors performance and assignments of personnel and makes periodic inspections to ensure they are properly trained, equipped, and fulfilling their duties in compliance with the organization's policies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 9+ years of experience.

• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
