Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Environmental Technical Order Safety Technician to join us at Incirlik Air Base in Adana, Turkey and become part of our dynamic team. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage transportation environmental issues effectively within the scope of the role.

  • Maintain familiarity with Air Force and Host Nation hazardous material and waste management procedures, including their application and disposal.

  • Oversee and organize the Task Orders (TOs) and publications library.

  • Implement and uphold Industrial Shop Safety Programs, adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Standards.

  • Ensure adherence to all DOD, USAF, USAFE, and Host Nation instructions regarding hazardous material (HM)/hazardous waste (HW)/clinical waste (CW) management and Hazard Communication, prioritizing environmental protection, safety, occupational health, security, and appropriate movement and disposal.

  • Apply appropriate Hazard Communication compliant to DOD and European regulations during processes involving HM/HW/CW to safeguard environmental protection, physical safety, occupational health, and proper movement and disposal.

  • Exercise responsibility in applying proper HAZCOM at all times to prevent risks, mitigate hazards, and respond effectively to mishaps.

  • Foster a safe and healthy workplace and environment for both contractor personnel and those affected by contractor operations.

  • Identify and address health hazards to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses, prioritizing the well-being of personnel.

  • Adhere to Host Nation and Air Force instructions and technical orders while conducting operations and managing occupational and environmental health programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • US citizenship

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Vehicle maintenance or similar experience

  • 2 years of experience as a Hazardous Waste, Technical Order and Shop Safety Monitor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in vehicle maintenance

  • 5 years of experience managing technical order library

  • 5 years of experience in an environmental or safety leadership role
