PeopleReady Senior Maintenance Technician in Illinois - US, Illinois

JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of assigned applications/platforms.  You will work closely with a team of Business Systems Analysts and Developers to make processes more efficient and employees more productive. Core responsibilities include working the IT support escalation queue, reporting trends and defects on IT support tickets, managing the data load processes for acquisitions, running queries at various cadences throughout the month, and checks to monitor production data as well as writing and executing test scripts for technology projects. You will become the subject matter expert on how business partners use our software.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Monitors production applications and data to ensure all data and system integrations are running successfully and applies data fixes when needed. 

  • Responsible for analyzing IT support ticket trends to identify and lead opportunities that address software defects and/or training opportunities to decrease the number of tickets. Makes recommendations to address problems and issues and provides broad project management in assigned areas.

  • Analyzes and compares datasets to review trends, issues, or areas for improvement through understanding of data relationships and learn to write moderate to complex SQL statements. 

  • Provides training and support to the IT Support team related to application management and processes.

  • Provides assistance to IT Support to review issues reported from users. Leads the Escalation queue and works with BSAs and Developers to address software defects based on priority. 

  • Manages and supports third party applications such as QuickBase, Transunion and RentPayment administration. 

  • Implements and manages standard testing procedures for system changes. Creates, reviews and executes test plans and validates that it meets the business and technical requirements. Responsible for proper tracking of test results. 

  •  Responsible for data conversion activities for acquisitions. This includes gathering, formatting, loading and auditing data for newly acquired properties. Additionally, responsible for setting up Docusign, Transunion and other supporting integrations. 

  • Participates in software upgrades by testing new functionality, and assists with creating training 

  • Manage requests from Legal and/or Audit teams with the level of discretion necessary documentation. 

  • Responsible for demonstrating a willingness to challenge the status quo in previous assignments. 

  • Performs other duties as necessary. 

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years application support or property management experience. Previous business analysis and/or project coordination experience is preferred. Required competencies: Analytical Mindset, Information Gathering, Conceptual Thinking, Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Managing Work Efficiently, Requires strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be flexible to work beyond the set schedule without advance notice based on acquisition deadlines and other unforeseen business needs.
