Position Title: Multi-level System Engineer

Work Location: INTEC

Shift Schedule: Monday Thursday 4x10s

Salary Grade: 17 Salary Range: Min \$92,785 Mid \$115,985, Max \$144,985

Salary Grade: 18 Salary Range: Min \$104,970 Mid \$131,060 Max \$164,125

Salary Grade: 19 Salary Range: Min \$118,305 Mid \$147,885 Max \$185,000

Position Purpose:

INTEC Mechanical System Engineer.

Assigned to air, water, steam, HVAC and other systems as a technical Subject Matter Expert, and to projects as a technical lead. Knowledgeable of the engineering processes; ensures technical deliverables associated with assigned mechanical systems and projects completed per schedule. Develops and improves maintenance criteria and corrective actions for assigned systems. Defines engineering, drafting, procurement, quality and document control resources as necessary to maintain assigned systems. Ensures accurate and on-time execution of engineering deliverables of assigned responsibilities to support facility objectives.

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):

Salary Grade 17: Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology related discipline plus 5 year\'s experience.

System Engineering and nuclear facility experience highly desirable.

Salary Grade 18: Bachelors degree plus 7 years directly applicable experience.

Salary Grade 19: Bachelors degree plus 10 years directly applicable experience.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform System Engineering duties as follows:

Ensure vendor technical information, appropriate standards, references, lessons learned, system history of repairs, project history, modifications history, operational problems or other unique conditions or circumstances as necessary are appropriately captured and included into deliverables / schedules.

Coordinate with Design engineering and drafting as necessary to establish design changes in support of projects and operations.

Apply engineering principles to ensure appropriate configuration management, timely application and completion of Engineering deliverables associated with assigned systems and projects.

Review and approve all Work Orders and other printed media (drawings, procedures, requirements documentation, etc.) associated with assigned systems and projects.

Provide design verification for assigned systems.

Support maintenance and operations activities.

Identify and modify procedures and requirements as necessary to support projects and operations.

Complete projects and tasks as assigned.

Maintain training consistent with individual training plan.
