Position Title: RMDC Administrator III Text Processor

Work Location: Town

Shift Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4x10s

Salary Grade: 7 Salary Range Min \$27.19 Mid \$35.00 Max \$42.81

Position Purpose:

Work independently as a text processer for the company in accordance with established procedures with limited supervision of the Document Management manager or supervisor. Work activities may include, but are not limited to:

Provides expert text processing for the Idaho Cleanup Project using current word processing software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) for various document types being released/distributed to the internal company Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to achieve significant organizational, company, and customer objectives.

Performs as subject matter expert (SME) for text processing protocols and tools.

Performs complex time sensitive, high-level text processing and publication tasks for company personnel, including various levels of management.

Provides innovative approaches and solutions to fulfill customer\'s document formatting needs.

Provides administrative support activities for the Nuclear Safety organization including correspondence distribution/delivery of documents to the Department of Energy, Idaho Cleanup Project (DOE ICP).

Maintains internal document templates and controlled document working folders.

Works closely with company technical writers to ensure proper format of various document types

May perform as a backup Document Control technician as needed.

Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education/Experience):

Vocational education and nine (9) years relevant experience. Expert in-depth understanding and knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Adobe. Expert and proficient use of computer and typing skills. In-depth understanding of electronic file management, EDMS, and the Document Revision Form (DRF) system. Must be able to demonstrate efficient oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and ability to assist with Document Control jobs.

Position Responsibilities:

Estimates job requirements and negotiates due dates and priority with customer. Uses knowledge of functional organization resources to provide customer with alternative, cost-saving recommendations, when appropriate. Interprets customers\' input requirements. Interfaces with company personnel at various levels or needs (technical writing editors, document owners, DOE ICP) to resolve questions and provide formatting advice. Monitor, maintain, and closeout work requests as necessary. Follows organization work processes. Maintains internal document templates and controlled document working folders.

Provides Document Control support as needed.
