About the Role
In this role, you will design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions in an Agile work environment and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using your knowledge of software development and Agile practice. You will collaborate closely with business support teams, product managers, security and architecture to assist in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through the latest in technology and automation. You are a technical expert that will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases of a product. You are proficient in at least one core programming languages or packages.
What You'll Do
Part of a Dev-Ops Product team responsible for development and provide support for all applications and facilities.
Analyze, enhance, develop and maintain the code used to support logistics systems
Assist and lead troubleshooting high severity and high impacting production issues.
•Assist with troubleshooting issues in development, test, and production.
•Supports multiple retail Distribution Centers in the use of their specific applications and MHE systems, for retail stores.
Maintain and documents critical system parameters for the various WMS, WCS, WES, MHE systems.
Maintain and proposes system configuration changes for the WMS, WCS, WES, material handling systems.
Maintains and improves monitoring capabilities over our systems.
Ensures that quality is designed into the solution from requirements thru deployment.
Understands IT methods and applies them to complex problems/projects
Provides input on long-term requirements for the various logistic systems used within our fulfillment & distribution centers and supply chain systems.
Manages requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. With an operational mindset. Ensures a Dev/ops model in all project deployments engagements.
Analyzes business requirements and processes and transform them into technical requirements.
Analyze business requirements and technical platforms and design creative solutions that maximize business functionality and minimize IT complexity and development overhead.
Demonstrate written and verbal ability to communicate effectively with IT professionals and business partners at all levels of the organization.
Research and analyze technical solutions in partnership with distribution and other vendors and internal IT teams.
Requires strength in articulating technical issues to diverse audiences, both internally and externally in technical and business terms; negotiating and influencing others to build consensus and collaborating with team members to reach solutions.
Coordinate with internal and external partners for all MHE systems and software endeavors.
For Projects - responsibilities are to coordinate vendor deliverables, create test plan, execute FAT/FIT testing, assist E2E and 4Walls testing, and involve in cutover activities.
Technically develop CI/CD Automation for Vendors software deployments.
Technical expertise to manage systems and assist with troubleshooting and routing maintenance reboots.
Develop New Relic, PagerDuty alerts and setup monitoring.
Manage TechDebt, Tech Initiatives and Business enhancements; and track all deliveries (includes testing and cutover).
For MHE Support - responsibilities are to cover PagerDuty 24/7 shifts, Monitor MHE systems proactive and manage alerts.
Incident, Postmortem and Change management. Triage/Stem step-by-step process to handle INC and CHG tickets.
Manage SUCO installs and coordinate for testing of software bug fixes and any major vendor software enhancements along with release upgrades.
Maintain Asset Inventory and track routine maintenanceeboots.
Maintain Currency updates for all DCs MHE systems, databases and network.
Who You Are
Software Development experience and understanding of security, secure coding/testing and data structures and aware of industry and competitor practices.
Comprehensive knowledge of software development, practice, concepts and technology.
Proficiency with various software languages and platforms such as Java, Oracle, Azure etc.
Experience with related technology stack and platforms.
Experience with building and sustaining effective relationships with immediate team and stakeholders.
