Senior Software Engineer - Consumer Engineering /CVX (Conversational Experience) (Bot Development)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy innovative AI solutions to various business problems to enhance Organization chatbot capabilities and solutions

• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be accountable for implementing software solutions as one the most senior engineers on a 4-6 person scrum team

• You will act as an individual contributor while providing influence over your scrum team

• You will interface with Lead SWEs, Managers and Peers to understand priorities and technical strategy

• Use best practices and experience to design, code, build, and test software solutions

• Providing accurate and timely estimates for tasks. Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution

• Support the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by 24 by 365 basis. Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan

• Works with less structured, more complex issues

• Code quality will be one of your core areas of focus - ensuring your team’s user stories are effectively tested, peer reviewed and well documented. Mentor other developers on coding standards, problem solving, and application architecture

• On-call in rotation (once in 3 months), including weekends

• Regular shift, but few weeks, as per need, may have to work in Later shift (2:30pm to 12am)

• Exploring new technologies & conducting POC’s

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering with a focus on AI

• 6+ years of full stack development:

• Any UI/Presentation Layer tech stack (Angular, or React or Java Script or Type Script or any other programming Language)

• Middle Tier/Service Layer (Java, Sprint Boot, REST API, API implementation, Integration)

• Any one Relational Databases – Oracle, DB2, SQL, PostgreSQL etc.,

• Any one non Relational/NoSQL Databases – MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.

• Solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail

• Proven excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Proven self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in AI-driven stacks, and/or a demonstrated interest in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

• Experience on Monitoring, Observation using different tools – Splunk, DataDog, Elastic APM, etc.,

• Knowledge on CI/CD

• Any public cloud experience
