General Summary:

Software Development Engineer Skills/experience:

3-4 years' experience in video domain (preferred) Solid C\C++, multithreading and OS concepts\fundamentals. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Experience in Android multimedia framework and\or Video4Linux2 (V4L2). Knowledge of Video user space hardware abstraction layers like Codec2.0, OpenMax IL. Linux Operating system (Kernel, Performance).

Knowledge of video specification such as H.265/H.264/VP8/VP9 Experience in several of the following areas: (Good to have) - Video usage models including playback, streaming, camcorder, and content protection - Android multimedia frameworks and video related applications - Streaming protocols and implementation (e.g HLS/HTTP/RTSP/DASH) -

Linux device driver development and debugging (e.g. V4L2) - Expertise in working with tools and techniques used on Linux (Windbg, JTAG, etc.) - ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging Responsibilities: Part of video development team and will be responsible for design, development, optimization and productize video use cases on Android and Linux mobile platforms

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.


Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.


PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Education requirements:

BE\BTECH\ME\MTECH in EC\EE\CS or related field from reputed college\institution
