Desired Candidate Characteristics:

  • Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion for healthcare

  • 3-4 years' experience in IT with demonstrated success in delivering and supporting SaaS and custom-built solutions and managing/partnering with software vendors and service providers.

  • 3-4 years' experience in web development using JavaScript ,Node JS,ReactJS, AngularJS framework OR application development using Visual Studio .NET technologies like C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML Web services, WCF and WPF.

  • 3-4 years' experience in RDBMS/RDS such as SQL server.

  • Experience in working with other system administrators and end users/customers to help configure and develop functions based on business requirements.

  • Deep analytical skills and logical thinking to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Able to collaborate across multiple teams

  • Ability to understand the needs of the business and commitment to deliver the best user experience and adoption

  • Experience with understanding of infrastructure setups/managing deployments ranging with varying complexities.

  • Experience in using/managing source code repositories like SVN, TFS, GIT, GitHub, Bitbucket

  • Must have knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as WebMethods.

  • Knowledgeable in Agile software development, Service-oriented architectures, Continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

  • Knowledge of computer systems validation (CSV)

  • Knowledge of cGXP and 21CFR Part11 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the controlled production support and life cycle management for applications (COTS & Custom Applications) used by Pharmaceutical Development within Global Product Development & Supply.

  • Contributes towards developing a plan for development activities and translates those into actionable projects. These include releases, required modifications and discretionary enhancements to support the application life-cycle.

  • Accountable for managing day to day operational support, enabling the business to scale while improving key performance indicators impacting their efficiencies and improving overall customer experience.

  • Accountable for delivering on project implementations and operational support commitments.

  • Collaborate directly with the business clients, IT Business Partners and other IT functions on delivery of digital capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Requires advanced knowledge applicable to a wide range of work in own function and thorough knowledge of other functions, typically gained through a university degree and 3-5 years of experience.

  • May lead initiatives related to continuous improvement or implementation of new technologies.

  • Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise thereby establishing a strong reputation for themselves and the team.

  • Looks for challenging opportunities and focus on building strong capabilities.

  • Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team.

  • Recognizes the potential impact on internal/external challenges on the future state success. Conveys and takes immediate action to correct any variation in quality, ensures accuracy and completeness of others' work outputs.

  • Demonstrates sophisticated analytical thought using various data sources and internal/external environment. Understands the broader implications of actions and perspective. Synthesizes results and links patterns and trends. Considers lessons learned and best practices in conveying to the team's understanding and knowledge.

  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certification(s) a plus

  • SQL Server certification(s) a plus
