Amazon World Wide Operations Organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build Amazon's indirect supply chain. In this role, you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex supply chain business environments. You should be passionate about utilizing the latest technologies to build end to end business solutions, working with huge datasets to answer business questions. You should have deep expertise in the creation and management of backend and frontend applications and data stores, as well as proven ability to translate data into meaningful insights.

We work in a start-up culture so you are expected to write more code than processes and you are part of the requirement finalization directly with product and business.

A day in the life

Global Procurement Technology works in a stand-up culture so you will designing your own components and writing the code for the same. You are direct part of business requirements and can influence business decisions.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
