Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Responsibilities

• Partner with Product managers, business stake holders and users to understand user pain points deeply.

• Work with your team and other engineering teams to design and build innovative solutions that delight your customers.

• Build, develop and grow a healthy, diverse, world class engineering team. Mentor & coach engineers and be a great role model for them.

• Anticipate, Identify, assess, track and mitigate project risks and issues.

• Drive thought leadership and enable the implementation of world class Supply Chain services.

• Work closely with partner teams to help simplify and manage the architecture landscape.

• Strive for excellence in everything you do: culture, collaboration, process, tools, design, engineering practices, customer experience, performance, security etc.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• OR equivalent experience.

• 3+ experience of building and leading high-performing Engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supply chain is an added benefit.

• Experience writing services and micro-services on middle- or back-end tier.

• Experience working in a large organization driving collaboration across multiple disciplines and teams.

• Excellent communication skills that can provide clarity to audiences. Metrics-driven mindset, ability to experiment, learn and improve.

• Experience working on complex engineering problems.

• Strong technical skills including understanding of object-oriented programming & design, algorithms, database concepts & performance, no-sql technologies and microservice architecture Cloud and services experience, with Azure cloud experience highly desirable.

• Proven track record of forming, mentoring, and growing strong engineering teams

• Demonstrated openness to feedback and effectiveness at collaborating with diverse groups of people Demonstrated independence, bias for action, and tolerance for ambiguity Excellent organization, prioritization, and communication skills
