As a Senior Technical Pro duct Manager in our Cross product software team, you will help shape the vision of the Microsoft Sensor strategy for Surface products.

Responsibilities

• Sensor Subject Matter Expert

• Excited about Surface product

• Managing technical projects consumer or commercial at scale device .

• Managing multiple projects in parallel with conflicting resources and similar timeline.

• Project planning (Agile and Waterfall) & tracking of feature development and validation.

• Ability to operate without guidance and excellent written communication and presentation skills

• Market/Compete research and customer needs.

• Integrated Hardware Vendor (IHV)/Partner management.

• Supply chain/sourcing know how.

• Proficient in roadmap definition, adept at navigating hard deadlines, and employing creative solutions to achieve targets with remote team.

• Bug triage.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

• OR equivalent experience.

• Sensor subject matter expert.

• Sensor types in Hardware (Ambient light and color sensors, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Human Presence Sensors like Time of Flight Sensors)

• Experience with SoC (x86 and/or ARM).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sensor driver stack in Windows OS or Android.

• Experience in electrical (EE) Power state/transition.

• Factory manufacturing and testing experience.

• Certification/Compliance/Regulation experience.
