We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Engineering Manager to lead our performance engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in performance testing, particularly with JMeter, and will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage Team: Oversee the performance engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality performance testing and analysis

• Performance Testing: Design, implement, and execute performance tests using JMeter to evaluate the speed, reliability, and scalability of our systems

• Analyze Results: Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and work with development teams to resolve issues

• Strategy Development: Develop and implement performance testing strategies and plans to ensure comprehensive coverage and accurate results

• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, architects, and other stakeholders to optimize system performance and ensure performance requirements are met

• Monitoring and Reporting: Implement performance monitoring tools, generate detailed reports on system performance, and provide recommendations for improvements

• Documentation: Document performance testing processes, issues, and solutions for future reference

• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies related to performance engineering and testing

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience: Proven experience in performance engineering and testing, with a solid focus on JMeter

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar

• Leadership: Solid leadership and team management skills

• Analytical Skills: Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Communication: Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in performance testing or related areas

• Experience with other performance testing tools and methodologies

• Knowledge of software development and testing life cycles, including Agile and DevOps methodologies
