As a Senior engineer in our team, you will develop machine learning and data science solutions that evolve with the constantly changing threat landscape and detect patterns of malicious and suspicious behavior. Responsibilities

• Work with other machine learning engineers and data scientists to develop machine learning systems for detecting anomalies, compromise, intrusion, fraud, and cyber-attacks.

• Engage with security teams across the company to identify security scenarios where machine learning/applied statistics can be used and drive the development of solutions to these problems.

• Work across teams in Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender and in other geographies like Israel to drive security solutions.

• Develop scalable data pipelines in Apache Spark that operate across a myriad of security data.

• Contribute to active engagement with the security ecosystem through papers, presentations, and blogs.

• Design data contracts and interfaces with partner teams to enable full end to end security features for customers.

• Partner with DevOps team to integrate into CI/CD pipelines.

• Contribute to active engagement with the security ecosystem through papers, presentations, and blogs. Develop world class data processing systems in Python/C#/Scala using cloud services. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor engineering degree in Computer Science/Data science/Machine Learning/Cyber security and 8+ years of professional experience, or Master engineering degree in Computer Science and 6+ years of professional experience.

• Strong programming skills in Java/Scala/C# and/or Python, with understanding of cloud architectures and distributed computing.

• Knowledge on, Classification, Prediction, Anomaly Detection, Optimization, Graph based modelling, NLP

• Experience with developing large scale data processing solution in cloud using Apache Spark or similar technologies.

• Proficient in Relational Databases (SQL), Big Data Technologies(PySpark). Azure storage technologies (ADLS, cosmos DB).

• Experience developing high-performance solutions with service-oriented architecture

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Understanding of AzureML, KQL and LLMs

• Knowledge of working in cloud-computing environment like Azure or AWS or Google Cloud. Azure preferred.

• Problem solving - Ability to clearly understand problems, decompose them into smaller problems; and technical articulation skills so that it is easy for the team to collectively solve.  

• Knowledge of Kuberenetes and its architecture

• Working knowledge of MLOps & LLMOps
