The Application Engineer is a member of the Enterprise applications. This person contributes to building all common infrastructure and integrations for enterprise applications as an application developer. This person builds data model, integrations, common tools and utilities. The person functions in Scrum teams with other professionals focused on building, maintaining, and supporting solutions frameworks for the enterprise apps. Pega is changing the way the world builds software and our goal is to be the no. 1 CRM SaaS company in the world. In this role, you'll help us design, develop, implement new enhancements for the applications.

What You'll Do at Pega:

• Develop world’s best CRM applications.

• Design, develop and implement high quality Application Software with minimal defects that conforms with suggested design patterns and best practices using Pega Platform and CRM applications.

• Work as part of a collaborative Agile team working in a SCRUM model and collaborate with talented engineers across the organization. Report work status, progress and impediments in a timely fashion.

• Understand and deliver solutions to the business problem with end user empathy.

Who You Are:

You are an experienced technical professional with a strong commitment to customer success without compromising integrity. You are a problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative team environment who wants to focus on building, maintaining, and supporting next-generation solutions.

What You've Accomplished:

• BS Degree with at least 4+ years of progressively responsible experience or Master’s Degree with at least 3 year of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions.

• Strong technical foundation, with understanding of object-oriented programming and design, data modelling and backend development.

• Strong experience working on Java, oops, Design Patterns, HTML-CSS, JS technologies

• Prior experience with enterprise systems including CRM, Industry applications, ERP and their corresponding business domain knowledge

• Preferred experience developing integrations using APIs and solid understanding of, and practical experience with DevOps

• Practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology

• Practical knowledge of Application Software design patterns
