Job Title : SAP Application Tech Lead

Location: Hyderabad

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Application Technical Expert (ATE) to act as Athena Tech Lead in Hyderabad. You will closely collaborate with functional teams to gather new technical requirements and orchestrate the deployment of changes, find solution to problems, and optimize the application maintenance procedures. You will act as lead of a team guardian of the technical solutions, providing expert guidance to other teams.

The team is responsible to maintain the platform development guidelines and supervise external development teams to ensure Sanofi quality standards are met. Updating ATC checks and defining additional controls when necessary. You will be responsible for approving technical designs and in some cases even own the design and abap coding end to end. In case of critical incidents escalation where support teams’ proof ineffective, you are expected to keep a hands-on attitude and when necessary, debug processes end to end to identify the root cause of issues efficiently.

• Main duties as Team Lead

• Guide, supervise and secure the growth of 2 junior team-mates.

• Main duties Related to Projects:

• Assess projects timelines, technical requirements, identifying pre-requisites and dependencies.

• Review Functional Designs to create Technical Designs, ensuring adherence to standards and requirements.

• Plan the deployment of technical changes, optimizing times and workload. Thereafter, follow-up of each required task and milestone including those depending on third party teams.

• Present weekly progress to different audiences, updating trackers and documentation, including Batch Job Runbooks, Interface repositories, among others.

• Main duties Related to AMS Governance and Service Management:

• Monitor AMS team service performance against agreed-upon targets.

• Conduct regular service reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with industry best practices.

• Manage relationships with internal and external service providers.

• Monitor and manage critical incidents and recurrent problems.

• Coordinate with various teams to resolve escalated operational issues.

• Continuously improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

About you

Education

• Graduated from engineering, Computer science, or Digital school.

• Master’s degree

Experience

• 11+ years as proficient developer (true Object Oriented, ABAP Unit, Clean ABAP…) with at least 4 years as team lead.

• At ease with SAP Interfaces setup (ALE, Webservices, Registered RFCs) and Batch Jobs.

• At ease with Microsoft tools (Excel, Lists, Power BI), SNOW, Jira.

• SAP certifications in Restful ABAP is a plus

• Other programming languages skills are a plus
