Summary:

Senior Project Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise. Develops small to mid-size product plans and budgets, performs critical analysis, pursues all cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability, and monitors project performance. Identifies and reacts to project problems and recommends solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • 12+ Years of overall work experience in Product Development/Engineering Services.

  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings.

  • Facilitate the PI planning event.

  • Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency.

  • Summarize program PI objectives into Solution PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency.

  • Assist tracking the execution of features and capabilities.

  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings, and the value stream sync for Solution Trains

  • Help drive the Lean User Experience (UX) innovation cycle.

  • Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos

  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and help them improve Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices.

  • Manage multiple projects throughout product development lifecycle as per program guidelines.

  • Manage and Track Project Plans, Metrics, Budget /Cost, Risk & Mitigation, Reporting

  • Closely work with program managers, cross functional local & global teams

  • Clearly communicate and collaborate with support functions, customers and sponsors as applicable, in managing expectations, commitments and interactions

  • Work with PMO to identify /customize and apply project management processes, methodology and milestones.

  • Work with peers locally as well as remotely to share & exchange best practices, assets/resources.

  • Proficiently work with development methodologies such as SAFE, Agile etc. and related project management tools

  • Problem solving session using RRCA,5Why etc.

  • DFMEA techniques

  • Running SOS and make sure action are followed up and being implemented.

Desirable Skills:

  • Seasoned with SAFE and Agile process and tools.

  • System Engineering background and system thinking.

  • Experience working with bigger and complex programs.

  • Exposure to process/product management tools Rally and Daptiv.

  • Ability to create custom rally reporting dashboards.

  • Experience in executing passport /stage gate-based development process.
