Google Program Manager, Scaled Services Delivery in Hyderabad, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in operations, supplier/vendor, or service delivery management, in Information Technology.

  • Experience in project or program management, setting up and executing projects and operational processes.

  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

  • Monitor vendor work products using standardized metrics for quality, timeliness, volumes, cost, etc. Drive Service Level Agreement (SLA) improvement plans, and manage escalations. Support vendor in ongoing activities including best practices, resource planning, training and certification, quality reviews, and tools access.

  • Partner with business owners, define new workflows, drive Request for Information (RFIs)/Request for Proposal (RFPs) in collaboration with cross-functional teams (procurement, vendor management office, and contingent workforce services), set up pilots and long-term operations.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes to meet business needs. Re-engineer processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction and operationalize solutions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and vendor partners.

  • Deliver business reviews with internal stakeholders, cross functional team members, and external partners to achieve business goals.
