Oracle Principal Software Engineer in Test in HYDERABAD, India
Job Description
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

Responsibilities
Analyze and decompose complex technical specifications to design and implement an automated testing approach.
Design and create test plans to address business and technical use cases.
Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards.
Test the application and build framework and automated tests to exercise different aspects of the applications.
Execute, maintain, and review the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developed.
Develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality.
Participate in designing and implementing enhancements to our test running framework.
Analyze complex production environment issues and design automated tests for future validation.
Setup and configure real world production-like environments to validate software integration points,
Analyze code coverage reports and implement new code to cover untested areas of product.
Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the product functionality and testing objectives.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment.
Performance testing of different modules/use cases, analyzing the performance testing results.
Scrubs issues in their product area, figuring out steps to reproduce in a test account based on steps to reproduce in a customer account.
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, etc.
Create prototypes, write unit test scripts, and deploy solutions to different deployment environments.
Translate user requirements into technical solutions.
Resolve development / troubleshooting solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints.
Focus on quality and application performance.
Flexibility to perform other team roles where needed.
May have project lead role and or supervise junior level personnel.
