As a Principal Product designer on the Product Design team, you’ll craft experiences that will transform the way some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated brands engage with their customers. What You'll Do at Pega:

As a Principal User Experience (UX) designer, you help define and drive the future of Pega product design. You identify, envision, and set product strategy for complex UX ecosystems.

• In this role, you will apply your passion for user experience to guide research and design processes and collaborate with product and engineering partners to create innovative experiences.

• Our ideal candidate has uncanny sense for clean design, is a fierce advocate for the user, and is committed to creating elegantly simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows. You also take the time to understand not just the execution side of the design, but also business aspects of the product as well.

• We work on collaborative teams to solve complex challenges and craft experiences that highlight our products’ unique capabilities and personalities.

• Help establish and drive forwards a vision for low code application authoring at Pega.

• Oversee the creation of exceptional design solution for complex business challenges on our innovative platform, Launchpad - a PaaS tailored for SaaS businesses.

• Play an instrumental role in advancing ‘Build’, our new Authoring Design System , ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients.

• Collaborate with other designers to standardize and scale solutions across the platform, enhancing usability and functionality.

• Engage with stakeholders at various levels, leveraging your deep industry knowledge to influence critical design decisions and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Coordinate with global team to align design initiatives, ensuring consistency and integration across multiple projects.

• Conduct and oversee user research to validate design approaches and ensure they meet user needs and business objectives.

• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, encouraging continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and design trends.

Who You Are:

An experienced Principal UX designer with 8-12 years of experience who understands the intersections between design and technology.

• Able to effectively communicate design choices and champion user needs at every level of the organization.

• Passionate about exploring and implementing new technologies in ethical and impactful ways.

• Have minimum 8 years of experience in UX, Product design, Information Architecture, and Visual design.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch or similar.

• Have a strong portfolio demonstrating solving complex problems, scaling design, and creating simple, usable, and delightful experiences.
