About the Role
• Work closely with the Oracle Retail Development Team in Hyderabad Development Center and will be responsible for developing solutions on Oracle Retail technology stack to support the goals and objectives of the business
• Partner with peers, business stakeholders, software & services provider, and colleagues from within and outside development teams, infrastructure teams to deliver software development projects
• Be a true leader; must build, inspire and lead the technical teams
• Should have the capability to drive stated goals and objectives independently in a different time zone as the leaders of the Retail team will be based out of US
What You'll Do
Provide technical leaderships and guidance to the Oracle Retail development team
Mentor and direct the team on the aspect of technical support
Design and develop integration interfaces using Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX scripts
Design and Develop integration API’s to integrate Oracle Retail Application with custom applications
Design and Develop integration interfaces with REST and SOAP services with XML and JSON payload
Design and develop Asynchronous near-real time interfaces using Oracle AQ with PLSQL Notification, Oracle AQ with Message-Driven Beans in Weblogic
Design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions& engage in performance tuning the Oracle Applications
Experience with performance tuning Oracle Applications
Participate in requirement gathering, architecture and technical design discussions
Work closely with production support team and assist in resolving critical production issues
Work collaboratively with other team members to foster an environment of respect, open communication and cross functional expertise
Who You Are
Minimum 7-8 years of Development/Implementation experience in Oracle Retail Technology stack (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB v14+); Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field & 10+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrated proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Scripting
Should have an ability to lead & guide the development teams
Demonstrated proficiency with REST and SOAP services
Demonstrated knowledge with Oracle AQ and Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS)
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programming languages and tools
Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise with team members
Demonstrated problem solving, analytical ability & self-motivation
Strong verbal & written communication skills, inter-personal skills and an ability to work in a team environment
Good To Have:
Development/Implementation experience in Spring Boot/Java technologies.
Experience in developing consumer and producer APIs for Kafka integration.
Experience in developing Operation reports using Oracle BI Publisher
Experience in developing UI applications using React JS, Oracle ADF
Experience with Oracle cloud infrastructure (OCI
