Job Requirement-

  • This position reports to Market Data Lead in CHC business unit in Sanofi

  • A corner stone of CHC transformation in the coming years, the Master Data & Governance defines the strategy and operationalization of data practices to lead the change and transform internal practices:

  • Embody Sanofi transformation with regular communications, upskilling, and proactivity.

  • The core objective the Product Owner in the Digital Data, Analytics & AI department will spearhead the development and management of secondary market research data products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and market research acumen to deliver data solutions that drive decision-making and support Digital initiatives. This role will need to analyze and manage Market Data strategy and processes partnering with various business groups. The Market Data Product Owner will lead and coordinate the integration of systems and processes related to secondary market research data. They play a critical role in ensuring seamless, efficient, and effective integration across different departments and organizations.

  • Developing Project Plans and Timelines:

  • Create detailed project plans and timelines that outline the steps and resources required for successful integration.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.

  • Coordinating and Leading Project Teams:

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including employees from various departments (IT, data science, research) and external partners (vendors, consultants).

  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure team members are aligned with project goals.

  • Foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.

  • Effective Communication:

  • Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders (employees, managers, external partners).

  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations.

  • Ensure clear documentation of decisions and action items.

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess project risks (e.g., delays, technical challenges, data quality issues).

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Compliance and Data Privacy:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards.

  • Safeguard sensitive data during integration and analysis processes.

  • Documenting Project Details:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.

  • Create user manuals or guidelines for data integration processes.

  • Analyze and Improve Architectures and Reporting Tools

  • Engage in analyzing and enhancing existing architectures and reporting tools.

  • Gather feedback from business stakeholders to improve processes.

  • Execute continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Business Leaders:

  • Partner with key business leaders to understand product attributes and data sources.

  • Work closely with business and IT teams to align master data rules and application operations.

  • Attention to Detail and Adaptability:

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

  • Multitask effectively and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for Market Data Analysis tasks and projects.

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across different data projects and applications requiring market data project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business stakeholders across the globe to understand their analytics and business needs for developing and delivering solutions that will provide critical insights through sophisticated quantitative analyses and data modelling.

  • Projects will be primarily related to (but not limited to) marketing analytics, competitive intelligence, incentive compensation, customer targeting, and call planning (response model based), sales force design, promotion evaluation, ad-hoc analysis, and reporting.

  • Perform marketing analytics to optimize sales / brand effectiveness (campaign ROI analysis, segmentation, forecasting, longitudinal patient level analysis, and develop interactive dashboards that visualize KPI).

  • Work hands-on with business teams with limited or no supervision.

  • Make presentations and recommendations to business stakeholders on optimal customers, sales, and marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Provide strategic approach to the problem statement within the pharma analytics space.

  • Demonstrate Strong Fundamentals: Exhibit strong fundamentals in domain expertise, project management, client influencing, and relationship-building skills.

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess strong analytical, problem-solving (both qualitative and quantitative), interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Experience in Specialized Analyses having prior experience working on:

  • Segmentation & targeting

  • Driver analysis

  • Indication split

  • Disease detection

  • Geospatial models

  • Scoring models

  • Network analysis

  • Supply chain analytics

  • Knowledge of Healthcare Commercial Datasets: Maintain a strong understanding and hands-on experience with healthcare commercial datasets including:

  • Finance

  • Audited (Sales MMIT, DRG, FF, IQVIA NPA, IQVIA DDD, Symphony, DRG)

  • CRM/SFE/MCE

  • Social media

  • Understanding Pharmaceutical Business Processes: Demonstrate a strong understanding of fundamental processes across the pharmaceutical commercial business, their interactions, and the impact of external/internal influences on effectively developing and delivering forecasts, as well as on decision-making.

  • Prioritization and Quality Management: Exhibit strong capability in juggling priorities to meet deadlines while consistently achieving high-quality outcomes.

  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others within and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

  • Creative and Strategic Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and SQL; some familiarity with SAS, R, or Python is a plus.

  • Experience in Specialized Areas: Experience in Oncology, Specialty Products, or Rare Diseases is a plus.

  • Contribute to the multiple CHC project deployment and in particular the business and technical activation of market data across geographies and functions.

  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.

  • Understand the end-to-end data flow.

  • Implements principles, policies, standards, and guidelines for data management inclusive of data access and sharing.

  • Reviews all data/data repositories on a periodic basis and ensures data is properly classified according to use, sensitivity, and importance and is maintained according to the predefined data lifecycle.

  • Audits security precautions to ensure adequate protection is in place.

  • Provides formal authorization for data access according to data governance processes defined at point-of-use

  • Supports the solution architect to provide best solutions to meet project data needs

  • Identifies opportunities for data alignment and re-use while minimizing data redundancy

  • Supports ETL, data, business intelligence, advanced analytics architectures

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in direct client/ business facing role within Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology/ Consulting/ Professional Services Outsourcing company in delivering commercial analytics projects

  • Experience of Master Data Management, preferably in FMCG

  • Experience in IICS, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Informatica MDM

  • Experience in Snowflake

  • Experience in Microsoft Power BI

  • Enterprise software deployment (design, build, integration, migration, go live, core model)

  • Agile ways of working and large projects phased delivery. Agile certification is a plus.

Data & Business intelligence domain and software experience is a plus

  • Experience of Interfacing heterogeneous systems and data sources

Education

  • Graduate/Post-graduate Degree in Life Sciences from a premier institute is a must. PG in business administration with a Marketing related specialization is preferred.

  • Proven experience in project management, especially related to data integration and analysis.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with market research data and industry standards.

  • Fluent in English

  • Outstanding relationship-building, effective in a matrixed, culturally diverse organization.

  • Influence skills at all levels of seniority, including people who do not work for him/her.

  • Balance pushing for change and bringing people along; conflict resolution mindset.

  • Fast & high-quality written communications, business cases and analyses (MS Office)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

FMCH / IT skills and competencies

  • Strong fundamentals in problem solving, complexity analysis, data visualization and understanding about the healthcare datasets.

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience working in Oncology/ Specialty Products/ Consumer Healthcare/ Rare disease is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.

  • Strong skills in manipulation of large complex data sets

  • High motivation, strong work-ethic and positive attitude while working under tight timelines.

  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.

  • Dedication to continuous learning.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
