Amazon is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to fill an IT Logistics Coordinator IV position. This role provides support for IT Offices throughout the region. The successful IT Logistics Coordinator should have basic organizational and team orientated philosophy, and problem-solving skills. In addition, you will need a proven ability to operate in high pressure situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities and possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism. Commitment to deadlines. Ability to develop clear, concise documentation. Experience in procurement, inventory and asset management of IT equipment as well as IT lifecycle. Superior technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills and experience and the ability to deal effectively with people at different levels and in different situations. Ability to come to the best solution by capturing the big picture instead of focusing only on the minor details/issues which only affect us/clients in a short run. Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively without supervision.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop efficient and accurate processes/metrics for monitoring and reporting performance of logistics vendors including risk identification and mitigation plans. Track and report all payables and receivables from logistics vendors for PAN India shipping sites.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings and present recommendations to internal business partners.

  • Should guide the Team members to carry out the deep dive to work upon the escalations/ queries received from the Customers and provide feedback to Leadership. Identifying the business impact, trends and making data backed decisions. Escalating variances in the information and data to the relevant owners and following through on resolutions. Constantly identifying opportunities to improve team performance.

  • Carry out data analysis and work towards closing any loopholes to improve upon the efficiencies of the extant process. See opportunities to improve upon the existing followed procedure.

  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant policies in order to have technically accurate solutions for the Team.

  • Liaison and coordination with the concerned stakeholders for efficient functioning of the Team.

  • Document standard day-to-day operating procedures. Ensures all SOP are followed to maintain the required standards for various tasks.

  • Communicate with Leadership team as issues arise to prevent logistics interruptions and risks in advance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with 2 years in Logistics domain.

  • Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Should have experience handling large dataset, mining and analysis.
