Job Description

Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) runs the Oracle software that runs Oracle. OAL is responsible for implementing, running, and improving nearly all of Oracle's Enterprise Applications: CRM, HCM, Financials, SCM, etc. We use Oracle's own real-life business requirements as a "test bed" for innovation. We often race out ahead of standard product and build extensions and custom applications to meet the needs of our 100,000-employee, Fortune 100 company. Once proven, our ideas and innovations quickly find their way back into core product.

We also ensure that Oracle is always Oracle’s best reference for our enterprise applications. Today's projects include performing a global implementation of Oracle's cutting-edge Fusion applications, design, development and implementation of custom applications and extensions; implementation of Oracle BI and finding new and novel approaches to visualizing complex Financial and HR data to engage key Oracle executives; delivering the infrastructure to operate Oracle's Public Cloud SaaS and PaaS solutions; architecting applications optimally for the world's fastest servers (Exadata & Exalogic) !

Responsibilities

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area.

Successful applicants should have/demonstrate

  • Enthusiasm and passion for building next-gen enterprise apps

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, J2EE, Shell Scripts

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Ability to present ideas in business & user friendly language

  • Ability to deliver effectively in a team setting as well as independently

  • Ability to work in a fast paced virtual environment that demands co-ordination across time-zones

  • Developing and implementing product extensions and customizations.

What we are looking for :

  • Strong Coding and design skills

  • Good command over Data Structures & Algorithms

  • The ability to produce bug-free and production grade code• Strong hands on knowledge on Java, web services(REST/SOAP)• Strong hands on knowledge on sql, pl/sql• Should be efficient with Java J2EE and related technologies.• Good to have knowledge on Unit Testing/ junit

Key Deliverables :

  • Develop very high sense of ownership, the zeal to build scalable applications

  • Develop a deep understanding of MNC ecosystem

  • Work with a performance oriented team driven by ownership and open to experiments

  • Design and develop end to end applications with very high quality

--Developing and implementing product extensions and customization's.

--Testing new releases

--Providing critical production support

Your skills should include:

Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite and Fusion applications. Preferably Oracle Financials.

Strong technical skills: SQL, PL/SQL, Java, XML, ADF, SOA , Python, Spring, Maven,Kafka, Spring Boot.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
