In this role, you will work on application development within the agile team for the Manufacturing Mobile application suite used for factory production operations as well as Brilliant Factory suite of applications used for real time Manufacturing operations monitoring. This team along with developing new capabilities and improvements to the platforms also ensures the Technology Stack is constantly refreshed for uninterrupted production and manufacturing operations essential for GEA business. You will be closely connected with Plant Operations and Plant DT teams to align with evolving needs of manufacturing operations. Further the person in this role would be expected learn and adopt evolving technologies in IOT space as business continues to strive for manufacturing automation and IIOT data exchange adopting Industry 4.0 manufacturing framework.

How You'll Create Possibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Part of agile development team delivering business needs for the various Brilliant Factory suite of applications.

• Support application development on AWS environment using Angular framework with AWS Lambda functions, AWS API gateway.

• Write technical and deployment documentation for developed solutions

• Ensure continuity of support post production implementation and integration through knowledge share to managed services support team.

• Partner with plant operations and systems team to help capture requirements through clear user stories, and breakdown stories to tasks needed to design, develop and implement solution.

• Seek opportunities to reuse and augment readily available and existing solutions. Look for ways to learn and incorporate emerging technologies to support business move to Industry 4.0 manufacturing.

• Work with rest of the development team to learn and adopt new Agile development techniques to help improve development quality and project delivery.

• Work and interact with other development teams across the enterprise to both adopt and evolve development standards

What You'll Bring to Our Team

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum of 2-year experience as developer and/or system operations.

• Javascript, Angular JS, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, or Python development experience

• AWS Aurora DB, Dynamo DB, MySQL knowledge

• GCP Cloud exposure and/or development experience

• Agile development experience and background

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, global & matrix environment.

• Ability to work with a sense of urgency on assigned tasks

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven technical, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, willing and eager to learn current and new technologies

Other Desired Qualifications:

• AWS/GCP certification encouraged
