Wells Fargo Business Execution Consultant - US Benefits/Rewards Operations in Hyderabad, India
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant - US Benefits/Rewards Operations to join our Benefits and Recognition team within Total Rewards. This role will be responsible for strengthening the control environment, promoting self-identification of issues, ensures control effectiveness and sustainability, and supports early escalation of risks, concerns, and issues. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a team first mindset, and acumen in relationship building to drive results.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for executing controls on an ongoing basis as well as developing and monitoring them.
Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
Interpret and develop policies and procedures aligned with Benefits and Recognition business objectives.
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Consult with colleagues in the Benefits and Recognition and other stakeholders to monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on performance and delivery to business objectives.
Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations.
Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business.
Be accountable for ensuring regulatory, audit, and compliance processes related to the benefits and recognition plans are done in an efficient and effective manner, complying with national and regional standards as applicable.
Measure and monitor the effectiveness of plan administration and customer service and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
Collaborate globally with Control teams, independent risk management and audit to ensure effective responses are provided and potential risks and concerns are addressed.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Result-oriented mindset with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills, specifically Excel.
Instill and drive proactive risk culture, operational excellence, and efficiencies.
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years into ability to perform US or Global Benefits and Recognition program analysis, maintenance and administration, and the related processing, procedural, control, and reporting requirements of assigned tasks.
2+ years of experience in US benefits operations, US benefits regulations or compliance is preferred.
2+ years of experience in Human Resources related systems such as Workday and Service Now.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Ability to prepare correspondence; memorandum; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation.
2+ years of experience into health benefit administration experience in a large, global organization
Demonstrated familiarity with large group benefit plans or large employer health benefits administration.
Familiar with employee benefit communications and the review and distribution of relevant health insurance summary plan documents (SPDs) to diverse audiences
Applied experience with presentations to various stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience with analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
Project management experience and/or skills including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, detailed planning, process management and documentation.
Knowledge and understanding of federal, state and jurisdictional benefit laws and requirements.
Experience in articulation of issues, risks and proposed solutions, to various levels of staff and management and ability to explain complex systems and processes to audiences that may not be experts in that field.
Highly organized and proactive with demonstrated ability to assess, exercise independent judgment, apply prudent risk management principles, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and proactively escalate when necessary.
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to adapt to changing business needs. Hands on style; proven ability to structure tasks or projects, execute and achieve targeted results and develop and manage associated goals and plans.
