Supervisory responsibility includes, but is not limited to, training and developing subordinates, delegating work assignments, writing, and conducting performance appraisals, coaching and counseling employees. The employee has the responsibility and authority to identify the status of production materials and act with such materials as defined in such documents as controlled plans and work instructions and daily activities of the Hose assemblies, End fittings, Quick couplings, and tube assemblies’ materials management, with the focus on people, organization, process and information technology . Will interact with employees at all levels of the organization, customers, and outside contacts.

Essential Functions:

  • Designs and implements production and operational strategies aligned with corporate, group, regional, and product strategies.

    1. Provides leadership in the selection, consolidation, and development of our global operational base; Builds relationships across global manufacturing requirements.

    2. Develops and implements procedures and metrics to evaluate as per global standards and domestically. Evaluates information pertaining to Operational program success and effectiveness.

    3. Manages overall strategic production planning practices; Executes best strategies during major outsourcing projects.

    4. Implements a lean approach to materials management including material flow and inventory control; Completes demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure products at higher productivity rate ; Establishes and implements standard manufacturing procedures.

    5. Analysis inventories and develops and executes plans to reduce DSI; Responsible for DSI and related metrics.

    6. Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, performance management, talent management, and individual development.

    7. Monitor the quantity and quality of Products and ensure that standard systems are properly maintained.

    8. Ensure the lean activities and ISO system to be followed in the department and daily update of Team improvement boards.

    9. Monitor customer commitments on daily basis and review the needs time to time.

    10. Ensure and monitor supplier RPPM and OTD to be archived by target fixed by the division and corporate. Ensure all manufacturing metrics to be met as per goals.

    11. Organise and conduct operational trainings based on requirements.

    12. Technical support to vendors based on experience having in metal cutting.

    13. Technical support over plating process to vendor

    14. New product Design, Drawing and Development with support of Auto-cad.

    15. DSI (days of sales - reduce inventory)

    16. Lean Manufacturing and value stream mapping

    17. Productivity improvement plans and execution through HPT and Kaizens

    18. Customer Service - Total of Line Items Shipped to Customers (LISC);

    19. Supplier Quality and Delivery (RPPM & OTD)

    20. Monitor raw material aging for the control of Non /slow moving inventory.

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

    -6-10 years’ previous supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    -Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.

    -Proficient computer skills.

    -Must have ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization.

    -Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
