Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee the migration of data and applications

  • Work with subject matter experts and project team to identify, define, collate, document, and communicate the data migration requirements

  • Develop migration strategies, scripts, and processes to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime

  • Perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping

  • Working with multiple data sources including on premise systems/applications, or cloud-based systems/applications

  • Design, develop and maintain database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc.) and SQL scripts

  • Build data systems and pipelines, test & implement ETL solutions

  • Work closely with the Solution Architects, Data Architects to define the migration process

  • Participating in reviews and providing input and supporting during development of migration plan

  • Providing support to customers about issues relating to the storage, handling, and access of data

  • Updating data within repositories, data marts, and data warehouses

  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • At least 5+ years of experience in the field of Data Engineering, Data Analysis, including source data analysis, data profiling and mapping

  • Hands on experience in one or more data migration projects from OnPrem to Cloud

  • Hands-on experience with one or more ETL tools like Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Informatica PowerCenter, Talend and DataStage

  • Experience in cloud data migration project (on prem to cloud) or building DW/Data Lake on Cloud Data Platform like Snowflake, Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift and/or BigQuery

  • Experience in Snowflake with Solid knowledge in writing SQLs, stored procedures, Query optimization and performance tuning, etc.

  • Solid ability to analyze and organize raw data, perform data analysis and research of healthcare data coming from various data sources

  • Ability to re-engineer and migrate database code using ETL/ELT in performance efficient manner

  • Solid knowledge in data streaming, creating data pipelines

  • Good exposure to different Data Modelling techniques and data modelling tools like Erwin Data Modeller

  • Good understanding of Agile & DevOps processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (Azure is preferred)

  • Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Storage

  • Python, PySpark, Scala, Powershell

  • Experience with reporting tools (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, etc.)
