Transformation Analyst

Job Description:

The Transformation Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of Sage's transformation priorities. The Analyst has a deep understanding of business operations, and process improvement methodologies and some experience across either change management, project management, or business analysis. The Analyst works closely with stakeholders across various functions to synthesize complex information, identify trends, and communicate findings and recommendations effectively to multiple levels across the organisation. The Analyst may be deployed as additional expertise to analyse data, market trends and recommend transformation best practices based on findings. They will also play an active role in supporting the overall governance of the Transformation Office. They have a strong appetite for developing into a Transformation leader and are comfortable at challenging the status quo, learning on the job, and operating in highly complex, challenging and fast paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Maintains a Sage-first, outcome-focused mindset at all times.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvements

• Provide in-depth analysis to support TO priorities

• Analyse data to identify trends or root cause issues that can be developed into recommendations

• Work with cross-functional teams and learn quickly

• Identify and recognise leading market and industry trends in SaaS market and areas of opportunity

• Advise cross-functional teams on best-practice for Agile and Squads

• Support and lead on governance of Transformation Office including any offsites, team meetings, all hands

A highly effective note-taker, and specialist adept at supporting transformation leadership by facilitating action implementation, developing agendas, and preparing materials for meetings.

• Tracks progress of transformation priorities, owning templates across TO and creating consistency in reporting

• Able to use data, initiative, and research of industry best practice to challenge the status quo

Skills, know-how and experience:

• Able and comfortable to work in complex environments

• Strong appetite and ability to develop and learn

• Highly proficient in/or interested to develop the ability to create clear and effective PowerPoint and Transformation documents regarding strategic recommendations

• Clear and concise communicator, someone who is confident at being able to challenge the status quo and is known for ‘thinking differently’

• Strong, action orientation, independent thinking with excellent organisation skills

• Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix and virtual environment

• Proven track record of delivering successful business outcomes through transformation initiatives
