Principal Product Manager - Intacct Platform
Job Description:
At Sage we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Platform Product Manager to drive Sage Platform for Medium Segment. The services you create are designed with multi-tenancy in mind and will support multiple products across medium and small segments. As a Platform PM, you will champion consolidation, enhance platform capabilities and drive internal adoption to help our teams move faster. You'll anticipate and address the future needs of the business and its customers.
As a key cross-functional player, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Business Unit Leads, Finance, Compliance, and other PMs to set a vision, define priorities, manage trade offs, execute an ambitious agenda, and be accountable to results reported at the executive level.

• Proven track record in Platform Product Management
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience building platform services, API, and interfaces, working with financial data
• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
• Identify market opportunities and under guidance of Product and Engineering leadership define product vision and strategy that is in line with business goals
• Create and execute on the product roadmap
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to understand best practices and best-in-class technology capabilities
• Engage customers, partners, and all stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives
• Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s) and work with engineers to deliver a quality product on time
• Write technical user stories, breaking down the work into concrete incremental goals
• Manage the entire life cycle of the product - define product strategy and roadmap, manage backlog, agile execution, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies
• Own the usability, reliability, and scalability experience of our syncing services and libraries
• Work directly with internal teams integrating with our services to ensure developer needs are met and teams can develop efficiently against our systems
• Become a subject matter expert of your domain, delivering business impact that aligns to the team and company strategy, and prioritizing the most impactful investments
• Leverage data to identify opportunities, define success, and achieve goals
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, user guides, and change logs.
• Build trusted relationships and communicate clearly, knowledgeably, and transparently with cross-functional stakeholders (including but not limited to Engineering, Product, Tech Writers, Customer Care)
• Hands on with focus on bringing clarity and driving execution
