We’re Hiring for a Road Supervisor!

Major Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates and promotes a “safety first” lifestyle at the location.

• Conduct on-road observations of service to ensure proper implementation of all operating rules and procedures.

• Assists operators in overcoming operational challenges.

• Complete a dally report recording all emergency or maintenance road-call, time checks, performance code violation and customer contacts. Completes incident and accident reports as required.

• Ensures scheduling compliance.

• Ensures operators are fit for duty.

• Observes operator pre- and post-trip operating procedures.

• Visit with major customer generators to discuss service performance issues and review site conditions for safety hazards.

• Investigate customer complaints related to operator performance and safety.

• Conducts operator evaluations as directed by the Lead Road Supervisor.

• Document observed violation to company policy.

• Can make recommendations to terminate employees based on observed failure to perform the job in a safe manner and in accordance with company policy.

• May be called upon to testify on behalf of the company at union grievances or safety appeals meetings.

• Ensures all required reports are submitted in a timely manner.

• Assists in the review of DriveCam clips and counsel drivers as required.

• Is available to drive a regular route or charted trip as needed to cover the day’s activity.

• Work weekends as necessary or requested by the assistant or contract manager.

• Maintains an orderly work area. The work area shall be organized and clean before, during and after a work shift.

• Adheres to a dress code that demonstrates professionalism and respect.

• Other duties to ensure the safe operator and efficiency of the department.
