WSSC Water Electrical Mechanic in Hyattsville, Maryland

The Electrical Mechanic performs a variety of installation, maintenance, and repair work using a broad assortment of electrical/mechanical equipment.
Minimum Education, Experience Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance work at the level of an electrical or mechanic helper
- Completion of technical courses in basic electricity, blueprints and schematics
- Possession of a valid drivers license with no more than 4 points and the ability to obtain and maintain a WSSC Water drivers permit within 90 days of hire or transfer;
- Employees in this position are designated or considered emergency personnel; therefore, the employee must report to work as scheduled or as directed by their supervisor when WSSC Water declares an event that requires emergency personnel to report to work.
