Dedicated to innovation and excellence, our primary focus involves offering Tier 1 manufacturing support to the automotive OEMs. As we expand our operations, we are searching for a talented and experienced Assistant Production Manager to ensure the production of high quality interior automotive parts at their new Hutto TX location.

Summary of position:

This position will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by establishing production workflows and timelines. You will work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the production of high-quality interior auto parts. This is a great opportunity for an individual to provide leadership to the Production Department for safety, efficiency, quality, scheduling and sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Production Department in the areas of safety, efficiency, quality, people and costs
  • Aid in establishing production workflows to manage customer orders and maintain on-time product delivery and implement continuous improvement methodologies
  • Help to facilitate the coordination of the production timeframe by aligning processes accordingly to meet customer demands

``` - Maintain appropriate supply and inventory counts to prevent product shortages - Assist with the purchase, management, and maintenance of raw materials - Ensure production documentation is completed and submitted timely by reviewing and confirming customer orders - Maintain working relationships with cross functional teams such as engineers, quality, maintenance and logistics - Assist with teaching and coaching members of the production department - Help to support the daily and monthly closing reporting and track monthly sales performance - Aid with reconciling and reporting shortages and/or damages - Coordinate with cross functional departments for the maintenance of equipment, machines, etc. - Provide support to after-market requests and establish a production workflow to accommodate the request - Manage payments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on experience
