General Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field. Two years relevant administrative experience or experience in a related field. Experience in Higher Education is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Performs administrative support for a multi-year Teacher Pipeline grant and works collaboratively with the certification officer in supporting students working toward teacher certification testing.

Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

Completes administrative tasks to support the function of the SHSU ACP . Monitors and responds to the shared ACP email, reviews applications to the ACP , collaborates with COE Admissions team, and admits students to the SHSU ACP . Works collaboratively with the Associate Dean over the ACP , the ACP Director, and other stakeholders. Communicates the most accurate and up-to-date information, admissions requirements, and processes to students and College of Education ( COE ) stakeholders. Performs other related duties as assigned.
