Radiance Technologies is seeking a Staff Action Officer (SAO) to support the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Technical Center, Research Directorate, Multidomain Technologies Division, in Huntsville, AL. The SAO will support efforts to staff and schedule Army science and technology (SandT) and research and development (RandD) programs that deliver advanced capabilities to the Warfighter. The SAO will perform a wide range of staff functions in response to data calls from various supported and supporting organizations. The SAO will provide independent technical review of documentation for accuracy and content. The SAO will coordinate with various leaders and organizations, and formulate appropriately formatted responses in a clear and effective manner. The SAO will be expected to represent the customer during meetings, record and track action items, and present the information into concise summary to organizational leaders. SAO must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. This position requires a proactive SAO that could work with a multi-disciplined team to track important milestones and action items for government leadership. The SAO will assist with scheduling, planning, budgeting, and managing for various technical projects. In addition, the SAO will assist in development and maintenance of program advocacy briefings to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the following tasks: Provide scheduling oversight and/or deconflict activities as necessary. Develop and maintain project schedules for the project manager. Develop and maintain program execution and advocacy briefings to internal and external organizations. Lead development and maintenance of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) program status reports and briefings to keep management informed of project progress. Advise and recommend mitigation efforts for financial and management risks that may affect project costs, and schedules. Multi-task and exercise independent and professional judgment under moderate supervision in solving cost and scheduling problems. May travel up to 5% of time.

Required Skills: Bachelors degree in Management, Administration, or other degree with relevant experience. Proficient with schedule management activities such as Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and helping maintain a Critical Path. Skilled in tracking actions to closure and identifying actions that may need more resources or leader emphasis to complete on time. Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Multitasking in a face paced environment. Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize and work multiple tasks. U.S. citizenship. Secret Clearance.

Required Experience: Experience with Army or DoD programs. Excellent skills using TEAMS, Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel and Adobe. Experience with organizing meetings, preparing presentations and spreadsheets, providing reports and action items, and managing databases. Experience with researching and gathering information on Army related topics. Experience with reviewing and developing papers and presentations IAW with Army regulation (e.g., AR 25-50).

Desired Qualifications: Masters Degree in Management, Administration, or have other degree with relevant experience. U.S. citizenship with an active Top-Secret clearance.
