Job Title: Phlebotomy FloatJob Description

Seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Float to join our dynamic team, providing top-notch phlebotomy services across various locations in Alabama. In this role, you will travel to client assignments within a designated region, often on short notice. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers professionally, ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients, accurate and timely collection of field phlebotomy and Patient Service Center specimens, and adherence to established procedures and protocols. You will also be responsible for venipuncture, handling biohazard fluids and tissues, data entry, and specimen processing including preparation, packaging, and labeling for transport.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, Alabama.

Work Environment

This role offers a varied work environment, primarily based in physician's offices across the region. The Phlebotomy Floater will provide coverage at client locations, which may require same-day travel or multiple days at one location. You will work independently, managing the draw lab based on provided protocols, and will report directly to your supervisor.
