The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an PAC-3 Seeker Industrial Engineer – Associate and Experienced Level located in Huntsville, AL. This role will be supporting capacity and expansion efforts, forecast planning to validate the outputs of the production system. Working in a dynamic program consisting of a diverse team makes this position a great place to grow and develop.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform design & analysis of Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) systems, simulations, models & tools.

  • Support design reviews, analyses, simulations, and component / system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.

  • Participate in new business development efforts.

  • Work under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

T his worksite participates in Boeing’s 4/10 schedule. 4/10 is a schedule in which employees work 10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday with every Friday off.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Experience or coursework in Control Systems

  • Experience or coursework using Matlab/Simulink

  • Software Development training or experience using C, C++ or Ada

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Highly preferred: Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance

  • Experience or coursework working with aircraft, missile, spacecraft, autonomous platform or similar vehicle Guidance Navigation or Control systems

  • Experience or coursework in Modern and Optimal Control Theory

  • Experience or coursework with simulation and / or system/component modeling

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experience Level: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $72,250 – $97,750.

Summary pay range: $86,700 - $117,300.
