Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Materials Planner to join our team in Huntsville!Navistar Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Material Planner that will be responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the production cycle. As a Material Planner you will schedule and monitor the movement of material through the Supply Chain and production cycle.

Hours are Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm and Friday as needed

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Suppliers relationship to assure parts availability for production lines

• Take care of all MRP parameters related to the PNs assigned

• Understand demand generation from production schedules

• Coordinate dates for Engineering Changes on current production products

• Interaction with Purchasing, Production, Supply Chain and Engineering teams, supporting daily production

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

OR

• At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
